"'No one has ever become poor by giving' - Anne Frank.  It became apparent to me in 2009 that I needed to be a more giving person.  I decided I needed to get involved with a charity and YTAC was and continues to be the perfect fit for me!  YTAC has provided me an outlet for me to give - both with my time and energy.  It's unfortunate that cancer strikes close to home for so many of us.  After seeing both my mother and a close friend & college roommate survive cancer I knew that cancer was something that would always be a part of my life.  It's extremely rewarding to know that YTAC Austin is making a difference to local groups that are helping to fight cancer."
